The PSG group of companies has been offering highly professional operational procurement services since 1991, when procurement service provider IPS was founded. The founders’ aim was to bundle the procurement of consumables as a purchasing service provider for the manufacturing industry and to optimise purchasing prices, as well as to reduce high process costs in the procurement of C-materials in companies by changing the ordering channels as well as approval and billing procedures. The rapid growth in customers and orders was taken into account as early as 1995 by developing an online ordering platform. In early 1996, IPS implemented one of the first European procurement solutions for the emerging internet infrastructure based on a proprietary software application and won the first German Internet Award at CEBIT in 2000.
In 2002, IPS was transferred to PSG Procurement Services. Today, the company is part of EPSA group and is active in over 30 countries through a worldwide partner network. We serve more than 200 customers at our headquarters in Lohmar, Germany, and some branches in Austria and Switzerland.
